You don't need Photoshop, a designer, or hours of free time to put together a digital wedding invitation. With a template-based builder, the whole process is really just filling in your details on top of a design that's already finished. Here's what the process actually looks like, start to finish.
1. Choose a Template
Start by browsing designs and previewing a couple as a live demo — you're looking at exactly what your guests would see, not a rough mockup. Pick the one that fits your wedding's colors and tone, whether that's classic and minimal or bold and floral.
2. Add Your Details
Fill in the names, date, ceremony time, and venue. If you have more than one event — a mehndi, nikah, or reception — most templates let you list each one with its own time and location so guests have the full schedule in one place.
3. Add Photos
Upload a photo or two to make the invitation feel personal. A hero image near the top and a small gallery further down is usually enough — you're not building a full photo album, just enough to set the tone.
4. Check the RSVP Form
Confirm the RSVP section is asking for what you actually need — usually attendance, number of guests, and an optional note field for dietary requirements. This is what replaces the mailed reply card.
5. Preview as a Guest
Before sharing anything, open the guest view — the exact page your invitees will land on — to double check spelling, dates, and that everything reads clearly on a phone screen.
6. Share It
Once it looks right, share the link over WhatsApp, text, or email, or use the QR code version for anyone you'd rather hand a printed card to that leads to the same online invitation.
How Long Does It Actually Take?
Most people finish in well under an hour once they've picked a template — the details you're entering (names, date, venue) are things you already know, so there's no learning curve involved.
